    Smells wonderful in the bag….but

    For me, this isn’t a dark roast. I like dark roast, Deathwish, minuteman, black rifle….those dark roasts are dark roasts, but this one just didn’t quite hit the flagstick. I’m not saying it is OB, or in the hazard, but it definitely is a lip out. Your hoping, you’ve stroked it perfectly and alas, disappointing.

    When the bag was opened, the smell was very nice, but even the beans weren’t very dark.

    Maybe I’ll tee up another type of their coffee and land it on in 2 for an eagle try.

    Maybe it was just a bad batch. Hard to say.

    In one word - smooth! I use whole beans with a blender for freshness and this roast is phenomenal! Well played from the first cup to the last drop! Straight black or with creamer, it doesn’t matter! Highly recommended!!

    Good Walk Coffee hits the mark! Similar to a wedge knocked to 3 feet (not that I would know), it’s strait money in the French press. Rich, smooth and dark. Doesn’t get any better! Thanks!
